Welcome to the University of Michigan Orthotics & Prosthetics Center (UMOPC)

Our Mission
UM Orthotics and Prosthetics Center, a Division of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, whose goal is to provide state-of-the-art services to adults and children requiring orthotic and prosthetic devices. It is our goal to be the provider of choice to all UMHS patients, both locally and state-wide, for their orthotic and prosthetic needs.  The principal mission of UM Orthotics and Prosthetics Center, is to serve this population of patients in a manner consistent with the primary mission of UMHS, including patient care, teaching, and research.

We provide all levels of service in orthotics (custom, custom-fit and off-the-shelf) and prosthetics as well as a complete line of breast prostheses, bras, compression garments and a line of non-prescription strength compression stockings and socks. We hope you will make us "Your Provider of Choice for Orthotic and Prosthetic Services."
