Please see the ACSESS Project page for information about the first project in the ACAL, and for more on the rationale for development of the lab.

The Adapted Neuropsychological Assessment of Children (ANAC) Literacy Research included studies that examined how to adapt tests of thinking skills, language, and learning to accommodate the needs of children with disabilities.

The Processing Speed Study (IT) examined the amount of time it takes your brain to process simple information (the thinking speed or information processing speed).

The Educational Liaison Pilot Study investigated the effectiveness of educational consultant services in translating the Adapted Cognitive Assessment Laboratory’s (ACAL) findings into recommendations for school services and instructional needs during a child’s Individualized Educational Planning (IEP) meeting.
